This play combines two beloved stories from the Norse Myths written into one tale and held together by the three Norns, who act as narrators. It is quite a dramatic story with many opportunities to create interesting sets and costumes. The notes at the beginning of the play offer suggestions for staging, sets, costumes, casting, and character development. Because it takes place in so many of the Norse worlds, each inhabited by a different group of beings, the play can be successfully staged by large or small classes. It will be about 40 minutes long, although the time depends on the amount of movement and music that is added to the scenes.
