There are two complete versions of the Robin Hood story that will be sent as part of this package. The main stories and staging are the same in both, moving back and forth between scenes with Robin and his band and a group of minstrels telling stories and doing tricks for the forest folk, but each play also has some unique scenes and characters. 
 
Both are very lively, action packed, filled with song and verse, and perfect for sixth graders. There are many scenes that incorporate circus arts, gymnastics, and music, all of which can be developed by the students. The notes at the beginning of the plays give suggestions on staging, costumes, props, and casting. It has an intermission and will probably be about an hour and a half, but much will depend on the movement and musical offerings that are incorporated into the scenes.
