Flexible Curriculum

Although most schools have a set academic curriculum, our approach to creating the lessons that deliver these skills should be flexible. Monica has always incorporated movement, special projects, outdoor learning, and community connections as enhancements to the typical classroom-based academic curriculum.

More and more teachers share their experiences about the benefit of being able to tailor their presentations to their class, whose needs might be quite different from students taught in another year. These videos present a wide variety of ideas about the best way to captivate and inspire children while also presenting challenging academics and building healthy social skills.

The videos in each course contain information and suggestions based on my 40+ years of experience, observations and studies as a Waldorf teacher. My work as a class teacher, teacher trainer, evaluator, mentor teacher, and speaker informs everything I have included on this website. This site is not affiliated with any training center or school. My inspiration comes from the education lectures and books that Rudolf Steiner developed from his insights into the development of children.

I disavow any of his work that is not inclusive and equitable to all.
